New Siblings For Me!

Hey everyone! I'm sooo excited to tell you this, FINALLY! I wanted to let you know, that.........ok...are you ready? Drum roll....

We are going to try to adopt!

Yep, yep, yeppity, yep! It's true! I'm soooooooooooooooo excited! We're gonna trust the Lord to open doors for us. We are going to look into China. We checked out South Korea, Colt's birth country, but it's the most expensive out of ALL the countries! And, all the other countries had parent ages maxium to 44. My parents are older than that. China's maximum age is 50-55, depending on the child. We are going to try to get a toddler...about two or so. I'm so superly excited! We're just praying everything works out, and that we get the child really, really, REALLY soon. We've sent for some applications.

Also, My big sister from the dance party I went to Saturday night is awesome! Her name is Frankie! She's a junior. They gave us little sisters an "answer", and the big sisters, a "question". She came by with her friend in front, Cheyenne. Cheyenne asked me what my answer was. I told her it was Odette. "What? Hey Frankie! Come here and listen to Joy's answer!" I said, "Don't you know who that is? It's the lead character in Swan Lake!" Cheyenne said, "Frankie!". Then Frankie said, "Oh my gosh! You're my little sister!" And that was that! She's awesome! I love her like a real big sister!

And that's it! Thanks for stopping by.

God bless,
Love, Joy :-D

YAY YAY YAY! I am sooooooooo excited for you! I wish my parents would adopt. I am actually a twin but my twin died in the stomach:( And my mom has had four miscarriages. I already have three sisters and no brothers. But anyway I am really really excited for you!

Joy,

I am excited too! This will definitely be one of those, "Let's see what God is going to do" situations, but we're turning it over to Him!

Glad you got Frankie for a Big Sis and that you two hit it off so well!

Love you!

This is SO EXCITING! In case you didn't know this, I have six grandchildren and three of the six are adopted. We are so blessed that God chose us to be their grandparents. I will be praying that God will open the door and the adoption will happen if this is His will.
