It's like my mama has said before. Around here, there's never a dull moment. Luke has a full time job of entertaining us and making us laugh!
He is always suprising us with his English. He's been here for a little over a year now. The other day, after leaving the bank, Luke plainly told us, "that's 'dickinus!" (That's ridiculous!) He can spot buildings he recognizes from a mile off! He pointed to a building the other day that had the emblem of where my dad works and said, "That's daddy's claim!" He also commented, when he saw me on top of a dirt mound, "You da churchkeeper!" He must think our pastor is the churchkeeper!
And, he has VERY many facial expressions. I'll leave it at that.
