Faithful Fridays!!!!!!
Hi, everybody!!!!!!! Happy Faithful Friday!!!!!!! I hope you are all doing exquisite!!!!!! Now.....you may ask, "why in the world is Joy doing her post in green?". And here's your answer......I wanted a change!!!!!!!! HAHAHA!!!! Ok....back to Faithful Fridays....
**********************************************************
This week, I'm thankful for......well......Ok, it's not just one
thing I can say. I have to go into a little story...so...here goes!!!!!!
Well, I started noticing some weird feelings in my stomach a week or two after I got over the flu. At first it was really bad. I prayed, prayed, prayed, and prayed some more, until finally, on Saturday I think it was, my stomach started feeling just a teensy bit better. It didn't really hurt anymore..... it just felt like a nervous or upset stomach. My mom mentioned taking me to the doctor. Now, if you know me, I absouletly, positively, undeniably, DO NOT like going to the doctor. I cried constantly, not because of my stomach, but because of my worry. I was worrying myself to death, until finally, On Easter Sunday, I just flat out told mom to take me to the doctor and get it over with....so she did. Turns out, I need more fiber in my diet(I'm a picky eater), and some meds, and hopefully it will turn out ok. Now,
you don't know how worried I was and how much my mom and I prayed that I:
#1, would get my favorite doctor
#2, wouldn't get the mean nurse
#3, wouldn't get my throat swabbed
#4, wouldn't get my nose swabbed
and #5, wouldn't get a shot.
GOD, LORD, IMMANUEL, KING OF KINGS, LORD OF LORDS, JESUS, SAVIOR, GREAT COUNSELOR, ANSWERED ALL THOSE PRAYERS AND EVEN ADDED SOMETHING EXTRA.......I GOT CALLED BACK WITHIN THE FIRST 30 SECONDS I WAS THERE!!!!!! NOT WAITING-ROOM TORTURE!!!!!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYA!!!!! PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!
Please continue to pray for me, because I'm not completely back to normal. But, man...GOD is great!!!!!!!!!!!
If you participated in Faithful Friday, leave me a comment so I can try to stop by and see along with other participants. Sorry for not doing it last week, folks.
Thanks!!!!!!
Blessings and love,
Love, Joy =D

Hi, Joy,
I liked reading your Faithful Friday.
I hope you feel better soon. I'm glad everything worked out at the doctor's office.
Wow, joy! That's a lot of green you got there... when I first saw your post, I was like how a I ever going to read this. No, really, I could hardly read the words, it was sooo bright! But then I got in a position where I could see it better. :)
Great faithful Friday post, Joy!
Sorry we haven't ailed your letter yet, we have to get some stamps.
LBF!!!
Love, Lyssie
Hi Joy,
I'm really sorry that you're having so much trouble with your stomach! God did answer alot of prayers! We'll continue to be praying about it! I want you to feel COMPLETELY normal!
I love you!
Mom
I did a Faithful Friday post.
Leah Kate is a VERY picky eater too. She has stomach problems and her doctor told us the exact same thing about the fiber. What are we going to do with you picky girls?
I'm glad you had a good doctor visit, but eat some veggies girl!
Hugs,
Mandy
I hope you are back to your old self soon.
I go to the stomach doctor Tuesday and I have to decide if I want to take a drug... a drug that can have serious side effects. My stomach doesn't empty all the way. It actually hurts me the most when I eat a high-fiber diet. I'm missing the good foods I like.
Please say a prayer for me... that the right decisions will be made with my doctor. I appreciate it.
Hope you get to feeling a 100% soon. I know it can't be fun feeling so blah.
Take Care,
Debbie
Hello, Doodlebug Joy!
I have missed you! You haven't been here for so long! But I know you have been very busy. I hope that you start feeling much better soon...summer vacation is almost here, and you don't want to be feeling "yucky" when that gets here! :o)
By the way, I did Faithful Fridays today!
Love,
Ms. Karen
