A Beautiful Inheritance

Ok, I know that sounds weird, but, listen, IT FITS!!!!!!! LOL! My Grandmama has been cleaning out her house a lot lately(sadly for me, that means I "get to help" her). She has been pulling out stuff, and I've been saying "Ooooh...that would look good in my room!", and giving her that sly little grin(you younger kids know what I'm talking about). She has this BEAUTIFUL little decorative jar that belonged to her mother (my great-grandmother) before she died. My mom has told her before, "You should give that to Joy." "It would go really good in her room." So, the other day, she did. Mom said she was suprised, but Grandmama DID make me promise a ZILLION times that I would take care of it and keep it always. It's on my dresser. It looks great. It's actually BETWEEN my piggy bank and bouquet, even though the pic doesn't show it.

Do you like it?

Guess what!!! After this, only one more post until my giveaway. Now, Allyson, my blogging friend, thought that my "Joy" stitchery was the giveaway. It isn't. You'll see what it is Allyson. You just wait.

Blessings,
Love, Joy =D

It is a beautiful jar. Make sure you find out as much of the story behind the jar as you can and write it down on a piece of paper or have your Grandmama write the story down... maybe tuck the paper inside the jar. One day maybe you will be handing it down to your granddaughter.
