Faithful Fridays ~ DO it!

I have been so terrible about my Faithful Fridays posts!  The usual cycle is: I forget about it until Friday morning, and once I realize that I should have had my post ready, the day has started and it's go, go, go.  But, I'm back now, and I'm hoping to get back into the normal groove!

I started Faithful Fridays so that Christians could have one designated day a week (although I don't think they should keep it to just one day) to share something about their Faith--a prayer request, answered prayer, Bible verse, something God's laid on your heart, etc. To participate in Faithful Fridays, just grab the button above for your post along with a link to my blog somewhere in your post, too. Have you ever been taken over with this feeling that you have to DO something?  DO something about the poverty we see in those photos of Africa?  DO something about the homeless?  DO something about the direction our country is headed?  DO something about the numbers of lost souls over the globe?
 
That's a sort of holy heat, isn't it?  :)
 
There are things in this world that make me want to stand on the side of the road and yell at the top of my lungs for people to DO SOMETHING!
 
And these videos are two of those things.

This video makes me cry.   How can we stand by and let orphans lose hope and do nothing about it?

The second video is actually a short documentary movie that is put out by Ray Comfort.  I LOVE this video.

Oh My My My...

I learned a song on the guitar, called Oh My My My(Mary's Song) by Taylor Swift. I LOVE this song! I think it's soo sweet! My camera kind of distorted the image and sound a little. I hope you enjoy it!

Only 7 more days until we leave for China! I'm sooo excited!

Dance Recital

My dance recital was May 29th, Saturday. Dad videotaped my dances, so here they are! They're a little blurry, especially the second one. The first one is our Production, a Latin theme. I'm in yellow, but I move all over the place. But towards the end, I'm at the first table from the left, standing in the second chair.



This was our Jazz dance. It was a race car theme, and in case you can't see, we were in Nascar-type outfits and our hats say "I love racing".

Going Green!!!!

Hey everybody. I'm going Green.....belt(Taekwondo)! Yep, I tested for my Green Belt Saturday! I will now be learning spin kicks, jump kicks, jump-spin kicks, Pyungahn Saw Dan and Pyungahn O Dan.....and...uhhhh....some other stuff.......=D Sooo....I'm going to show you a video of when I was changing belts(with a little silliness at the end).

Oh, sorry about not posting in a while. I had a post that was supposed to go on yesterday but.......it didn't. I'll post that tomorrow.




En"Joy"!!!

SNOW!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Guess what! We got snow! And it stuck! And it's more than an inch! And we're supposed to get more! Yay! Finally! This is on our truck window. I made the design.
