Faithful Fridays ~ Right Where He Wants You to Be

Hi everyone!  Today's (Thursday night) Faithful Friday will be quick as I am having an episode of pancreatitis again and we'll be leaving for the hospital in a few minutes.

Faithful Fridays is a weekly "meme" hosted on my blog.  I made it so that Christians could have one day out of the week (Friday) to share something from their Christian walk on their blog.  If you'd like to participate, write your post, grab the button from the Faithful Fridays page on my blog (so that it will link back here), and come link up at the bottom of this post!  :)

This morning as I started the day with bad stomach pain, I cried.  I cried because I didn't understand why God would let this happen--why He would let me have a flare-up right before my Chinese New Year performance this Saturday.

But then I remembered what I've been reading in my devotionals lately and what the Lord's been pressing onto and speaking to my heart.

Where I am right now is where God wants me to be.  Right now it's with an episode of pancreatitis.  But I'm okay with that now.  I don't know if I'll get to dance or not, but maybe there's something or someone in the hospital I need to do or speak with.  Maybe there's a lesson I need to learn.  Who knows!  But I'm going to just dump it all in God's hands and give it to Him.

God bless you guys.  :)
Joy :)

Your post just about made me cry. I know how much you want to dance. I'm proud of you for putting it all in God's hands.

Love you! 10!

Joy, I'm visiting over from your mom's blog.

I'm so sorry this is happening to you right now, but you are such a wonderful young lady and so incredibly wise for your age.

Trust in the Lord, it's all you can do, even when we know how hard that is right?

Praying for you,

Joy, I only get to the computer on weekends, so I just saw your post. I am so sorry about the flare-up. My son certainly understands how you feel. He has recurring bouts of colitis. I am praying for you!!
