Pinned It, Made It! Monday ~ Homemade French Manicure

Hey everyone!

It's Pinned It, Made It, Monday again! I'm so sorry about not posting...I've got a few posts coming, though, I promise!
We all want our nails to look pretty, right?
Right.
I have only had one manicure in my life.  That's right, one.  And I've never had a pedicure.
But, I've learned a few tricks to doing my nails myself.
And today I'll be showing you how to do your own french manicure.

The idea.
So I didn't actually pin this in the beginning.  I had seen it around the internet and Colt's girlfriend, Amber, had told me about it, but I hadn't actually pinned it.
Still, though, it's an idea off Pinterest.  ;)
My little cousin, Laci, is here for a week or so, so I borrowed her hands for this week's project.  :P  Unfortunately, I didn't get many pictures.  :/  We got one of me doing her nails...although this was at a point when I was trying to show off and do it without tape.  :P

But the original picture above shoes it pretty well.  You just put tape over most of your nail, leaving the very edge.  Then paint that edge.  The tape keeps the rest of your nail from getting the wrong polish.  Also, before I started doing the actual french manicure portion, I put a coat of my 2-in-1 base and top coat on Laci's nails for extra shine.
Here's the finished product on Laci's nails:

God bless you and have a great day!  :)
Love,
Joy :)

That looks neat Joy!
My nails never seem to last for long, I work with too many heavy boxes I guess, things end up breaking off. That is very neat though, as I have seen many of the young ladies I work with, they like the french manicures, and those gel nails! I think I would like to just "squish " those! They are so squishy looking.
Anyhow, great job and I will pass this on to some of them. They are always trying to save money.
God bless
Renee
