Absolutely, Postively, Without a Doubt,

Definately, ultimately, THE BEST MOVIE EVER!

My mama posted about Couragous on Friday, two days before we went to see it.  She wanted to direct people to it and let them know it was coming out this past weekend so that they could go see it.

We went to see it.  And I'll put it this way:  I talked my grandparents into taking me to see it again this week.  I could watch this movie over and over and over and over and over again!

This movie is great.  The quality of the films that Sherwood Baptist Church make has been improving so much!  Their first movie was Flywheel.  The second was Facing the Giants.  The third was Fireproof.  And the fourth film they have made is Courageous!

If you aren't bawling during this movie, you are laughing, and if you aren't laughing, you're at the edge of your seat!  It's a very convicting movie, especially for men, but still, it's very convicting for the whole family.

Courageous covers all bases.  And that's all I'm going to say, because I don't want to spoil anything for you.

But I think this analagy I recently read in a email forward coincides with the movie Courageous.  NOTE: I'm kind of retelling this by memory.  :)

A rich man's son (a young man) was cruising along in his new, shiny convertible.  He was making sure to go slowly enough to watch out for kids playing in the street.  Suddenly, he heard a bang and stopped the car.  He quickly realized that someone had thrown a brick at his car.  He looked around and saw a boy nearby.  In a fury, the young man began yelling at the boy.  "Did you throw tht brick at my car?  Do you know how much it will cost to fix that?  Why did you do that?!"  The boy began to cry.  "I'm sorry sir, but no one else would listen, and that was the only way I could get your attention.  My brother fell out of his wheelchair and I can't get him back into it by myself.  The rich man suddenly felt bad as he followed the boy toward where his brother lay.  He helped put him back into his wheelchair and made sure he was alright.  "Thank you, sir," said the boy gratefully, tears streaming down his face.  The young man swallowed hard.  "You're welcome."  He made his way back to his car.  He never fixed that dent in his car, because he wanted to always remember: Don't go so fast through life that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention.

Please, please go see Courageous, and take everyone you know and their second cousin with you!  Show Hollywood that movies like Courageous are the movies we want to see, not the filthy trash they produce all the time.

God bless you!

Joy,

I couldn't have said it better myself! I don't know how a movie can make you just about cry and laugh at the same time, but it did! I think I cried 75% of the way through the movie though! It's such a powerful wonderful movie and everyone should see it! I think our world would be different if they did!

Thank you for sharing this beautiful review!

Love you! 10!
