Boys and Girls

My three year old little brother, Luke.  I think he's the most adorable kid ever known on earth...wait, no--I KNOW he is!  :)

Boys

Mud and bugs.
To the backyard they lug
Treasures of every sort.
Cars and trucks,
Big bear hugs.
Cheesy grins,
Boys.

My cousin, Laci, on Easter 2010.  Boy, how she's grown since then!  She turned eight in August.  She is (and always has been) a beautiful little girl!

Girls
Joy S.   9/22/11

Sugar and spice,
Sweetness and fiest,
Girls.
Dolls and tea,
"Mama come see!"
Girls.
Tutus and dresses,
Radiant faces.
Girls.

**Boys and girls SO different, aren't they?

Joy,

So glad you posted these! I thought they were both wonderful! Keep up the writing because I think you have a God given talent for it. I also think these would make great stitcheries or framed in some way! Hey, they would make great gifts for mommies too!

I love you! 10!
