Hey Luke,
I just wanted to let you know that you are beautiful, little brother. At night, I lie in bed beside you and study your face. Low, wide-bridged nose, beautiful carved-of-wood-like-eyes, those precious, soft cheeks. Your eyes look like they have no eyelids-just eyes and the skin above them. You also look like you're wearing eyeliner. If there ever was a pretty boy, it was you.
You've grown out of calling me "Jiejie," sadly. :) I like how you say everything just a bit different than how it's supposed to be said. You have an altered version of the English language which we have slowly figured out and can now speak pretty fluently! I nuv you!
You're a cutie pie, and you're so sweet. You always want to sleep in my bed and "keep me warm," reasoning that "daddy can keep mama warm." Sometimes I'm pretty and mama's beautiful, and sometimes mama's pretty and I'm beautiful. It changes from day to day!
I can't imagine your sweet face lying in an orphanage crib. I'm glad you're here with us! Thank you, God!
I love you, Luke.
Love,
Joy

Joy,
I read, but don't always comment, I must apologize for that.
I think Luke is blessed to have you for his sister. He adores you and that can be seen from your moms' posts! Life is always changing, he is growing and learning from watching you and others, helping him to keep on the right path is very important, you are a very special young lady! There is a saying my mom told my oldest son~ because I know there's lots of pressures out there, but this has been of a great help to him and also to myself. I am thinking of making a sign or something here it goes~ There is only one of you for all time, fearlessly, be yourself. This is true, we can easily cave to pressures, but when it's something you strongly believe in, stand firm! We are all similar, but yet unique, God made you you, and he has a big plan for your life! I can't wait to see what that is!
Blessings to you Miss Joy!
Renee
Joy,
You truly are a wonderful big sister. It's obvious that Luke adores you by the way he looks at you, says your name, and follows you around. You are excellent with him and I'm so glad he has you! Thank you for being unselfish and considering his wants and needs and being so special! You are a second little mother to him. Sometimes I think he probably loves you more than anybody. That's a beautiful thing.
I love you so much! I'm so proud of you!
As Renee said, I can't wait to see what God has in store for you!
Love you! 10!

This is the best letter ever. I know one day Luke will be grown and become more independent, he will be a wonderful young man because he will follow in your foot steps.
