Recalculating

If you own one of these...

Then that probably sounds familiar.

Years ago, at one of our church's kid/teen events, a sermon was imprinted into my mind. I remembered it the other day when we took a wrong turn and our GPS said, "Recalculating" in that annoying British voice. Lol. :)

You see, when we take a wrong turn in life, mess up, and get lost, God "recalculates" our way again and forgives us.

I just wanted to share that with ya'll. :)

Luke has been Little Mr. Ornery the past few days. But then again he'll do the most awful thing then say, "I love you jie jie." So how can you be mad at that? hehe :) Thank God for Bob the Builder and Garmins!

Blessings,
Joy

Hey!
I found your blog off of Madison's blog list. I noticed that you are doing Core 5 in Sonlight! I am in 8th grade, and my little brother is in 6th and we are doing core 5 also! This is our first year to do Sonlight and I LOVE it. Your little brother Luke is adorable! I read your blog when you first found out you might adopt. I love reading your blog =)

Dear Joy,

First off, I will say that I will send an email to your Mom with my address after I publish this comment. Thank you so much... you are so sweet.

Second, I don't know about the coffee at the Chinese Starbucks, I'll need to remember to ask my parents and Theresa about it next time we Skype. :)

Last, you asked about NaNoWriMo. Well, I'm going to quote the website which describes itself as:
"A fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30."

I would check out these links for more information:

I did it last year and I'm so excited for this year as well. If you join, look me up and I'll add you to my buddy list. :)

Love,
Your friend,
Cassie
