{A Sweet Weekend)

Last weekend, my long-time, long-distance best friend came over and spent the weekend with us--she lives almost an hour away from us, so every time we get to be together, we squeal and hug each other at first sight and then make the most of our time!  :)

Now my Christina is getting all grown up, and she left for a summer college program right after she left our house.  *sniff sniff* They just grow up so fast.  ;)

So of course we had to have a photo shoot, and it was just too much fun.  We grabbed the camera, pointe shoes, and a shaky little chair and headed out to the fields.  Christina was able to use some of these for her senior photos, for which I was honored.  :)

The clouds were gorgeous that day.  (But not as gorgeous as Christina. :))

It was a super fun time with my long-distance bestie before she set out on her college adventure.  I can't wait to see how my favorite model continues to excel and pretty much just rock at life!  :)  

Falling in Love...with Fall!

I don't know about you, but I just love fall.  It's lovely.  And it's one of the best times of the year for getting out and taking some pretty pictures.  :)

This is a bit late, because it's already getting into Christmas (YAY), but the fall colors were just too pretty this year to pass up photographing.  :)

Photo Shoot With Christina

I spent my birthday (February 2nd) having a lovely day out with my friend Christina.  We had photoshoots, got our hair and nails done, went to a movie, went out to eat, and had a sleepover!  :)

And here is the product of our photoshoots!  We took turns taking pictures of each other and playing around with different angles and poses.  It was a bit hard to find a background as there were puddles everywhere and an extremely busy road goes right by our house.  :)  But we did our best!  Keep in mind, these were taken before we were all made up with our curls and what not.  :)

And I couldn't end the post without a silly shot!  :)

~Photo Shoot With Luke~

Hi everyone!

I had a photo shoot with Luke the other day.  It was that point in the afternoon/evening when the sun hasn't really started setting yet and it's really bright on one side of the sky, so some of the pictures didn't turn out so great, but here are some favorites that I played around with on my favorite photo editing website, Picnik:

And here's one that I did the other day...I thought it was cute.  :)

We're leaving tomorrow to go stay in a cabin for a few days.  I'm very excited!  My friend Christina is coming with us.

Yes-that's what I've been doing my friends! Picnik.com is like your own little easy to use free photoshop!! I love their collage/scrapbook templates and retouching photos is a BREEZE!! So here's just a few examples. NOTE-Some of these are for Babydow, thus the cartoon babies :)

Picture Day for Nature!

The sun was shining really pretty today(Saturday), so I decided to go outside and try to capture the beauty! I've watched my mom take pictures for forever, and now I know some of her tricks. She taught me everything I know! I love photography...I'm gonna try to make Luke my little model. ;)

This one was taken from my clubhouse, right at the top of the slide.



I took this one laying on the ground right at the dividing line of our property and the neighbor's.



These two are of the flag in our backyard. We have three flags. One in our backyard, one in our front, and one in my grandmama and pop's front yard(next door).





These two are of the windmill we have in our backyard, with the grandkids' names...soon we'll add Luke's name!

These I took of our tree. The last one I took by climbing our fence(right in front of the tree, and leaning backwards. It made me go light-headed! LOL!
